Chilcotin is a large, rangy filly. She has a very nice gait, straight and tracks up well. This filly has matured a lot
over the last year. She has turned into a friendly, well mannered
filly, big bodied, lots of mass, and nicely coming together,
long loose, ground-covering stride. Likes to follow me around
the pasture, and is a very good babysitter for the foals. Her dam is 16.2 hands. Chilcotin
was measured on Oct 7/04 at 28 months at 15.2 1/2 hands. She
will probably finish at 16 or more hands. She has a very pretty, feminine
head and a long graceful neck. She has great feet, and big bone.
She moves very nicely, hunter style, long, straight stride, covering
a lot of ground. She wold probably be a comfortable ride. She
does not spook easily. This filly has the potential for jumping, dressage, eventing, hunter, and driving. Chilcotin's Thoroughbred dam, Street Arab (now deceased), is double registered Jockey Club and Canadian Thoroughbred Horse Society, and she is also overstamped with the International Sporthorse Registry Mare Book. Her progeny have gone on to win in the hunter/jumper disciplines. |
